Continental Orange

Hi Everyone, anyone have pictures of a mid year (74-93) Continental Orange 911? I stopped by to talk to a mechanic yesterday and noticed he had a Carrera 3.0 buried in the back corner of the garage in that color. Where I am in the process of a total repaint, I was thinking about doing something a little different. Since this color is period correct, I think it may be a good choice. Just curious what it looks like out in the sunlight.

Thanks,

David

It's in the right front fender. I simply have a Mocal unit with a Spal fan mounted to it. The bumper merely saves a bunch of weight.....

YellowbirdRS, that orange SC you posted the real deal or repainted that color? If it's real, what's the name of the color and what years was it available? Or is it just paint-to-sample?

Thanks guys, that color is great. I've never seen that color up in my neck of the woods until yesterday. I especially love the look with the RS spoiler (front center cooler) in the front. Fortunately, I have a bit of time before I make the final decision but I am definetly leaning towards the non metallic 70's colors.

Thanks for your help as always,

David

I think it is Continental but I'm not sure. It was for sale like a month ago on e-bay.
IROC & Muffin: what's the paint code of your cars?

ORANGE is far and away the best color for a 911. I love the early ones in either Signal or Tangerine. Here's a pic of my '77 in Peru Red......it ain't red, it's kind of burnt ORANGE.
