Center Cap Preferences? pix
Which center caps do you guys prefer? The all black are the stock ones, and the others are laminates (stickers) applied to the cap - just wanted to see what they looked like on my car but can't really tell.
Are your colored preferences painted or inlaid crest? ![]() ![]()

I prefer the monochrome look.
But more importantly whats with the weights on the outside of the rim? |

The weights are my local P-car wrench's (yes he does specialize in Porsche's) solution. I was less than thrilled, but I need new tires and am debating if I go back to him to mount the new tires.

I like #1. The weights on the outside are fine, I would just be concerned with the number of weights used.

Seems like everyone's split! That's just about sums up my sentiments.
temo - just like me, I typically prefer the option I don't have!

add some black to #1 but keep both sets -- rotate them periodically (when you change the color of your valve covers)

Most new tires are marked from the factory with a dot to indicate the heavy spot in the tire and the lighter end of the tire. The light end should line up with the stem. If your tire requires a lot of weight it can be rotated sometimes to compensate. New it's easy... if they know how it works.
Some people leave weight on and just add more if they are really dim witted. Balancing with weight on both sides is much more accurate but, static (inside only) is fine for under 100mph. Bridgestone has patented technology in the last few years that has improved the balance. One of the few companies to patent anything in the last 20! Harold
