Compact Oil Cooler Kit

Anybody have first hand experience with the compat oil cooler kit. I have a fender mount oilcooler with fan. I live in Miami and my temps still reach 215-220. I would kike to reduce by anothe 10 degress or so. What are your experiences?

I'd say that your temperatures are very reasonable. I wouldn't worry. But if you get one tell us how it works.

I have one on my car...
I got it from Jerry himself.

For those who don't know anything about my car, I'm in the un-enviable position of having a 1974 base model 911 with an "S" motor. What that means is that I have all the heat of the "S" model without the trombone cooler to help me out. I installed the compact cooler to help bring the temps down and it's done that quite nicely. I used to run in the 225-230ish range under normal driving (fairly aggressive) and temperature (70-90) ranges. I now average about 210. If you want to drop a few degrees, this should help with that quite nicely.

It's also cheap and quite easy to install, both pluses. Fit and finish is good.

I am picking up a fender mount cooler, but I am still going to run the compact cooler.

Jason,

Thanks, I think I'll pick one up.

I am sorry, I guess I was too subtle.

You will find several threads on the subject.

Concentric, thanks for you input. I was looking for people with experience with the unit like. The "search" as suggested by enmcon5 only leads to mostly opinion!

Nothing better than hearing actual experience.

Anybody use it combined with a feneder mount cooler?

Thanks
Eric
