I picked this DVD up a Sears Point (Wine Country Motorsports). Great movie, excellant in car and interviews. Now they have to get "Forever Champions: the quick and the Dead" on DVD

Finally watched this movie. I must say it was very nicely done. Although I would have been just as happy with just the vintage footage and some "race only" commentary, the way it was presented made you really connect w/ the drivers. I even liked all the candid conversations and views expressed by the drivers away from the track.
I was worried initially b/c I thought it may be a cheesy 70's type of Warren Miller documentary. (Don't get me wrong, I like his films and I love skiing, but his older films were... a bit too 70's.") This one was really good. And what a difference in how drivers related to each other back then. It was really a camraderie that I'm glad I saw. It's how I initially imagined drivers, in contrast to many of todays primadonnas.

Hmm, since that dealer is right across the street, I think I may have to go get that!
