915 Problem
To fix my leaky 915 I just replaced the gasket on the end of my transmission and the gasket on the small bottom plate.
Now it does not seem to shift into 2 or 4. Could it be the position of the U-fork on the lower plate? Maybe I moved the shifter when the fork was removed and then it re-assembled wrong? Please tell me I don't need to remove my engine again. Any ideas???? |

could be that you missed getting the dongle into the right place. I would check all the shifter set up again and then again, if that does not solve it, pull the U-fork and try it again without the gasket and see if it shifts better, if so put the gasket in and seal it up, if not, you will need to do some more thinking
check the bottom of this page for a picture of the u-fork and dongle Jim |
Excellent pictures. Thank-you. I am quite sure I got the fork wrong. Will update you after lunch today.

you may have messed up the coupler adjustment in the tunnel. did you loosen the nut and bolt or just remove the allen setscrew?

Dongle and fork were both wrong. Fixed now, thank-you guys.
Just the painfull re-fill procedure remaining. |
