cheap wheels

are there any really cheap wheels that one can put on an early car to use as a roller while the fuchs are being refinished?

maybe something steel off a vw?

I'm thinking of getting the car painted this winter and am looking to send the Fuchs off for refinishing during that time -- of course, the paintere will want to be able to roll the car around....

Late 356C steel wheels...or their Brazilian counterparts....

I recently bought/sold 4 of these...with tires...chromed....all for $40. Rough shape, though.

Watson, there in your area, could probably hook you up as he has all that junk. Just be careful bending over.

What? You only have FOUR wheels and a spare? I thought everyone has more than one set. Right now I have 16 wheels, one spare and 2 steel roll arounds.

Couldn't resist. Some will be leaving soon.

Yes, I'm well aware of the dangers you speak of, malone.

Sorry, Zeke, I'm still building my stash....
