Learning new stuff is the best part of a 911
 

Well,
I got a 911 partially to learn and I must admit that it's now one of the funnest parts of having the car. Not just for the big stuff either...
Tonight I rekeyed the door and glove box locks to match the replaced ignition switch. I had no idea what made these things work until tonight. It's quite amazing and simple. I really enjoy that I feel like I can tear the whole thing apart and see how it ticks, and most times it all goes back together and works...
The eingine rebuild was fun and rewarding but long, it's the simple and quick projects like this that I really like ;)

Oh yeah, and driving it is fun too :)

I will chant that to myself the next time I am buried in grease beating and straining on something.....

I've learned some new words working on my 911, but the neighbors didn't appreciate it.
