A/C Delete

Thinking about removing all of my A/C components since it's very lame, rarely need it, and I don't want to invest in the repair. It would be nice to drop the weight and open up some space. Is there a comprehensive list of components somewhere? Also, if I catalog and keep all the components is it feasible and easy to reinstall in the future?

John

Here's a Rennlist link where Bill Gregory lists all of the components for an SC backdate. I don't know if they apply to a Carrera or not (but have posed that question on that thread)...

Rats...can't copy the link...anyways, look for the Rennlist thread titled: "Heater hose replacement and routing on 82 SC"

I just pulled out almost all the A/C on my 84 Targa and it took a few hours, I'm putting mine back in though, newer and better. Not too hard
