fuel pump location with engine upgrade

For those of you who have installed a 3.6 in an early car, where did you mount your fuel pump? In the front by the tank, under the car in the rear, like a stock MFI car, or in the engine compartment by the electrical panel? or?? Looking for ideas, as the fuel cell went in today, and this week i'm running all the fuel lines.

PAG kept moving it around, but they finally settled on one spot - so I would assume there is a reason for that, and put it there - barring any other good reasons.

on my 1975 we kept the fuel pump in it's original location, under the car in the rear.
