I got about 15K out of mine, the rears were shot but the fronts still okay. Probably could get another 5K-7.5K out of them.

However, sold the wheels/tires combo and got some turbo Fuchs and ES100's. The Pole Positions are a much better tire but I have a contact at Yokohama who got me the set for $275. Can't beat that.

Twisting force from under the hood times weight of foot= Bye Bye rear tires. (Regardless of tire).

I think that you will be going through rears faster now, (do you have ltd. slip?), but that is also what is refered to as "a quality problem" in the fast car world.

80% ZF and I love to spin the rear tires

I'll be lucky to get 10K miles out of the rear 245s.

I'll be surprised if you have ANY tread left, especially after the 1000k run

Ok, ok, Ian, I'm busted I have done the 1000 km run twice now just to check it out. I think this set of tires is good for another run or two around that loop !
