Angry Wierd noises after a brake job.

Last weekend I replaced brake pads and flushed the system on my 1980 SC. The new pads are fine and I have a nice firm pedal-BUT- now I have an audible clunk or rattle from both sides of the front end. Its most noticible when going over tar strips or small bumps. Its there whether I'm on the brakes or not. I can't feel anything thru the steering wheel. All I did was swapout a set of used Metal Masters for new ones, What could I have done? What should I look at?

Thanks to all

Best to jack the car up and remove the wheels to see. Who did the brake job? Did they put the spring clip back in? Did they loosen the water shield?

Bet you the spring clip. But...........what Souk said. I think his answer is the best.
