Porsche Crest Over the top Porsche people

I am looking for humorous stories of people who love their Porsches to the point of mental illness. What did they do and when did they cross the line of love for the breed and into psychosis. In other words, this is a desperate attempt to verify that I am not alone...

Well, there are dozens of us, maybe hundreds, that have removed every last ounce of sound pad adhesive, floor tar and undersealer. And then sanded the underbody parts and floors smooth as the hood and painted it all. Oh, and all this by hand with small tools for the intricate parts. The last car I did took 40 hours and I stopped before I actually got to the very bottomside of the floors. The inside floors, trunk, engine bay and bulkheads were clean as the factory parts before they hit it with the crap they used.

Maybe not pyschotic, but nuerotic for sure.

That's pretty intense, especially when people see you at work with your head inside a wheel well for an hour. I'm sure they thought that was humorous. For some unknown reason, I though it was necessary.

Garage
1. uh...I spent my kid's college fund on a 911. Of course I told the wife that I'd sell the 911 if I don't save up another college fund. But it turns out that that is a lie...I'l never sell the car. Kid better get a scholarship.

2. I also spent over 5 hours today washing, waxing, and detailing the car...and I haven't even started on the interior yet.

3. I've gotten caught a few times in the garage...sitting in it and making vroom vroom sounds with my voice.

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a toys r us kid.

Divorce stories..... - I have been close. I thought I was a rare case, has there been many marriages that started downhill because of cars?

I've heard of a guy on this board who keeps taking and posting pictures of himself and his car! Can you imagine?

One time I had to move the car out of the garage to fix the garage door, and it had rained that morning- the driveway was still a little wet, so I threw a tarp down so she didn't get her tires damp.

Another time I was on a date and the girl wanted to bring the leftovers of her chocolate crepe back in the car with us. No way sweetie.
