Red face Zeniths to Webers Carb Conversion

What do I need to install webers where zeniths are now residing?
Can I use the same manifolds, linkages, ect.?

The Webers I'm installing are rebuilt but had a slight carb fire which carboned blacked the outside of carbs.

I've tried everything to get them clean even chem-dip. I'm thinking disassemble and put in vibrator/agitator polishing tank with a bunch of hard plastic beads or blasting with glass or plastic beading. You'd have to plug all the holes and orfices with tiny plugs or silicone chalk.

What do you think? Am I nuts on the ideas of cleaning...it is only appearance-they work well! Thanks

B. Martin
