Exhaust heat sheild
I have aftermarket fiberglass bumper, and my rear bumper is getting really hot. does anyone have pics of a heat sheild they have fabed up or can it be bought some where? The top of the bumper under the rear reflector starts to sag down when it gets hot.

Do you have hot air coming out of that open heat exchanger port?

This is a stock heat shield on a '86, I painted it with ceramic paint and have had no issues with the bumper getting too hot or paint flaking off, even after hard running at DE's.
