Anything happening in SoCal Saturday?
Figured I'd make a new post, since I'm so close to Cali (currently at a hotel a mile or two from the Cali border). I'll try to leave early in the morning so I can get their earlier. First stop would be Oakley as I need to drop off a pair to get reconditioned. Then, possibly meet up with Brian (SoCal911SC) for lunch... would anyone else like to have a little get together or something?

Just got into Norco a little while ago for a gas/pee break. We're heading out to Oakley in Foothills Ranch in a few, then back into town hopefully meeting up with Brian (SoCal911SC) for lunch and what not. Anyone else want to join us? The computer is staying on for a while, so just post or send me a PM.

I get to entertain inlaws for the next 3 days... I'd rather be ANYWHERE but home. Alas I'm stuck. Welcome to California! Did you bring this mini heatwave with you?

Jeff, how are you connecting to the Net? Are you finding areas with free WiFi access? Still working on a remodel project, so can't join up for lunch. I know you will be coming right by my house on the 405. I'll leave my no. on a PM if you have any trouble thru Long Beach. Sounds like your car is humming right along, though.

Terry - not sure, but it sure is really hot!
Milt - didn't find a wifi access point yet, so I'm relying on t-mobile wireless internet (up to 56k speeds). We're possibly spending the night in a Super 8 Motel in Torrance, maybe something later on today could be organized?

Mark,
that's too bad! We're spending the night in a holiday inn express (holy batman $149 a night...a lot more than the $50-$60 we've been spending!). Thinking of heading up to San Jose tomorrow...unless you've got something in mind?
