Sway bar question?
 

I'm looking for stock sway bars for the rear of my '77 Targa. Our host shows a differant part # for '74 to '77 vs. '78 to '85. Does any one know what the differance is? Bottom Line will the later bars fit the early cars? Thanks in advance for any insight.

You can make the later bars fit the early cars, but adaptation is required for the droplinks. I run a 21mm Carrera rear bar on my '73. This is how my mechanic does it:
