930 distrib vac advance

After removing the cap to the distrib, and applying vac. to it, can anyone tell me how much movement in mm I should have on a turbo car. I think my vac advance is sticking. Is there any way to lube it, or free it up with it in the car?

It's a known problem that the advance/retard plate grease hardens and causes it to stick (really stick!). It was a few years ago that I disassembled mine. I recall there was a trick to removing the plate, but I no longer remember the procedure. Again, do search, or maybe someone will chime in. Very simple to do, just ensure you adjust the timing once reinstalling your distributer.
