87 Carrera muffler gasket question(s)

I'm in the process of installing a new sport muffler (Bursch) this
weekend, and just realized that the gasket I bought recently is
too small... The bolt pattern has a spacing of about 2.75 in (70
mm) between bolts, whereas the muffler bolts are spaced about
3-in (76 mm) apart. The guy must have sold
me the gasket for the crossover pipe to CAT? Funny thing is that
the part number for the gasket matches the Pelican Part number
for the CAT-to-muffler gasket (C-111-191-01)... Makes me think
that maybe the Pelican Part gasket is incorrect as well.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going on here?
Thanks!

P.S. Anyone know if I can find a similar gasket made for another car?
The porsche gasket is almost impossible to find locally.

Try a 2.50 inch Chevy header gasket. I used one on my Flo-Pro install and it worked fine. Your local parts store should have these in stock. It might be close enough to suffice.
