Garage
Window up/ down and sun roof.

All has been working well and then they will not move. Been through the fuses that is all ok, is there a relay in that circuit?
This is in an 86 Carrera
Thanks Steve.

Steve,

I have been having similar problems with my EW and ESR in my '71 911.
While you press the switch/es , try jiggling the ignition key in its switch a little.
I need a new ignition switch.

Cheers,
Dennis.

Yes. They changed it's location over the years, but on your car I believe it is one of the round relays on the main fuse panel. It should be the the 2nd one closest to the rear (or 2nd closest to the windshield).

There's also a circuit that allows the use of the windows and sunroof after you have shut the car off, but before you open the doors. That may be suspect as well.

Also, if you have done any work under the dash behind the instrument cluster there are several firewall plugs mounted on the firewall. If you knock one of them loose you will loose random things and the fuses and relays will all be ok. They are a bear to get to and you will need a good light to see them. I almost lost my mind after adding a boost gage where my clock was and then lost one turn signal one window one headlight etc.
