It's alive!!!
Finally I got it running. The car died on me a week ago. Driving along and I suddenly lose power. Look towards the back and see smoke pouring out of the engine bay. Problem was that my wiring harness fried. I ripped that thing out and found that the entire harness section from the alternator to the starter was one crispy critter. Thank goodness pelican sells those. I bought one for $190. That was an awsome price compared to some places wanted $500 for a used one, $1000 new. While I waited for the harness to come in, I looked for the culprit of this whole ordeal. The ground wire that connects to the engine case had a small chunk takin out of the sleaving right in reach of the alternator terminals. I replace that and put in the harness and it fires right up. I know it was only a week, but it felt like a lifetime without it. Feels so good to drive it again.

Nothing like the test drive after a wrenching on a 911

Allways a great feeling when you put it all back together and it fires up. Now it's back to driving it the way it's meant to be driven. Well Done Beau.
