Boost control Question

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1094468831.jpg

I was wondering what the switch above the boost control knob is for. Has anybody seen this before and what is its likely use?

Thanks
Jim

is that a momentary or a latching switch? on our turbo dodge's we'll use cold start injectors to kick in extra fuel, or maybe a water sprayer to cool the intercooler if you have one......maybe trace where the wires coming off of it goes, to me it doesn't look stock but i don't own a 930 :)

That looks like an Andial boost controller. I'm not sure what the switch would be used for... maybe Nitrous :D Fire in the hole!

Definitely not a stock item. As Bell suggested, try to trace the wires.

Bell- It is a latching switch.

You are probable right about it being an Andial BC. The car immigrated here from CA and the PO used Andial for service, etc.

trace the wires.....if it's a latching switch it may go to a vacuum switch which opens up that adjustable knob.
i made a controller for my dodge for 12lbs/24lbs using a toggle and valves, with it off it's more streetable......flip the switch and all hell brakes loose:D
maybe follow the vacuum line from the knob too......it may lead to a vacuum switch which is triggered by the latching switch.
but again...my turbo experience is from my TD's :)

I looked on the Andial website and it is one of theirs. If it ever stops raining here I will investigate further.

If someone knows what it does and wants to jump in though...
