9/11 benefit car show door prize worries.

I hate to even post this. But if anyone can spare anything for a doorprize for the second annual GruppeB benefit carshow it would be greatly appreciated. Local buisnesses aren't as generous this year for some reason. I am afraid we are going to dissappoint the attendees. If you can help me out E-mail me. I am throwing in a few things myself to try and get the numbers up. Several Pelicans are or have donated door prizes for this years show already. Again I hate being a beggar but its coming down to the wire and I am getting nervous.....

Have you talked with our host; they were quite generous for our event last year. Also talk with *****************; they put together a small package for us. Another to try is Maguire’s products, they are very involved in the car show world and I have heard generous also.

Shawn, I'll be bringing a few items with me in the 911. Probably be in that Friday evening around 6-7 and I will come by and drop them off at the house. Don't ask me what I am bringing, cause I don't even know. Got any ideas?

Shawn, It may be too late, but can I ship you a grille badge or two? Not too exciting, but some of the B@stards might appreciate them. Let me know. Jim | ||

Seriously that will be fine. I am throwing in a California car duster for a door prize. Alot of buisnesses are doing $5 gift certs so it doesn't have to be extravagent or expensive. Jim, This is a all makes and models show so Porsche specific prizes dont go over very well. (Although I am working on a all Porsche show ) I appreciate the gesture. (PS post on the GruppeB board RE: the "B" badges) Maybe we could donate a portion of the sales of the "B" badges to the cause? I am in for one or two. I will e-mail Wayne. scale models are always a hit. Even if they are them funny german cars. Anyone wanting to pitch in send the "stuff" to : GruppeB car show c/o prize dept. 426 west main street Warsaw, IN 46580 Thanks guys. I really appreciate this. Next year I am hiring a staff to help me out. Work is hard!

is delayed gratification ok? I'll donate a couple $10 iTunes Music Store gift certificates. The catch is I need to know who they are for (either email address or postal) to send them. So you could give them a "fake" certificate, then I can send them the codes to download the free music.

Todd, Sounds great! Give me the info for the fake certs and I will print them out. Then they can contact you then for the codes.
