weber carburetor setup questions
1. I have a 2.7 liter engine with weber carburetors. Which fuel pressure regulator is recommended for these carbs?
2. The engine is "Bruce Anderson" style 7R case with Euro piston/cyl and 2.4lliter heads with E cams. I just moved the car from 2400 feet altitude to sea level and wonder what the best setup for jetting is at sea level? Anyone running one of these spec engines please help...:p |
1. Run a search of this forum for "carbs" and/or fuel pressure regulator. There are many options. In my case I'm using the PMO pressure regulation device.
2. PMO could help with the settings via fax...may be more willing to help if you buy the carb parts from them. |
I can't help you with the jetting, but I can tell you to buy a GOOD fuel presssure regulator. The $20 ones are not good enough and the calibration is not accurate.
For that reason alone, also buy a fuel pressure gauge. They are about $25 for a decent one and you can check anytime you want by looking in the engine bay. IMO, they are accurate enough to set your pressure. |
