turbo compromise
I have a 76 3lt. turbo with a kkk26 on it that is shot. I would like to rebuilt this unit but there are to many projects on the go. There is a member on this board that is selling a 88 turbocharger and I was wondering if it will fit my application. Any suggestions?

So do you have a 76 930? Is the turbo that is shot the factory original? If so, you actually have a 3LDZ turbo, which many people confuse with the K26. But to answer your question, I don't see any reason why one from an '88 won't fit.
