Desperately need quick help!
 

Ok, after looking everything over, the PO had NO idea how to properly wire the ignition (twist tied wires and lots of electrical tape). Also he disconected a who bunch of lines in the engine bay.
Can someone please post some pics of their ignition and the wiring. I need to see everything, including wiring to the cd box the coil and the random assortment of stuff attached to the cd box.
Also If anyone could post closeup pics of their motors (installed), I might be able to figure out the hose mystery. I know what several are for, but I keep seeing areas in the engine bay where it looks like a hose is missing. My car is a 1970 911T coupe with stock motor (I think)

Sorry, 1 more thing, I removed the charcoal filter and traced that it had 2 lines that conected to the tunnel. What are they for???

These early motors are not that difficult to wire up as they just did not have that much in the way of electrical things on them. There are quite a few wrecked cars around that have a good wiring harness in them and the harness is not that expensive.

Might be a lot of time and trouble ahead to just buy a used engine harness from a wrecked car. It plugs in the 14 pin connector on the bulkhead in the engine compartment and then covers everything on the engine. It would get rid of all the cobbled up mess you describe above.

You should have wiring in this harness for the generator, distributor, oil pressure and temp, one or two wires to the carbs (mine had a switch on the Zenith carbs) and believe that this is it.
