Need your input.. History of VDM Steering Wheel
 
I was talking to a friend today about a VDM wood wheel, He asked me what VDM stood for..... *&%^&* Now you know the rest of the story...

What does it stand for?
Any body have any facts or fiction?
History?
Any information on the VDM?
Info on the manufactor?
3 spoke or 4 spoke?
Wood/ Plastic?
Pictures!!!?
Value?

VDM was (is?) the manufacturer - they made all the std steering wheels for the 356/911/912/914 at least up until 1973.
