Porsche Transport? East Coast

Im about to purchace a porsche and i need to find a transport company to haul my car down to me. The car is located in PA and it will need to be transported down to south GA. Any help finding a good transporter would be very helpful.

Mike,
Check out http://www.epinions.com/hmgd-Moving_Services-All-Auto for more info. I've just used Intercity Lines for a 911 from NY to Atlanta and was very happy with the service.

http://www.dasautoshippers.com/ They did a great job of shipping mine from Charlotte to LA last year.

Intercity is very good. When I was transferred from Phoenix, AZ to PA, the car was in good hands.

I did request that my car be put on first which eliminated them having to move the car as there were two other cars being transported. They used a closed trailer which was a good idea. Rain, hail etc.

I put the car cover on, noted the milage, chalked/marked the tires and got the drivers cellular number.

Since the driver was transporting another vehicle to New England, I suspected he would spend the night on the road somewhere so I tipped him and added some extra $$$ for a good dinner.

Both my 62 356 Twin Grille Roadster and 70 911S were shipped by Intercity. They were great. The roadster was shipped from CA and the 911 from MI to Groton, MA (Boston). I was really impressed with their trucks! The floor was varnished maple and everything was cleant and white.

DAS did a job on my car: paid for enclosed shipping and got the car with 1/8" of dirt ground in, scratches like someone had sat on it, a door ding, headliner which had been installed a year and a half before hanging down like it was pulled out, and crack in the hood.
I'm not too pleased.
