Option Code mystery!
Hey, I'm curious as to if anyone can tell me what Option Code E14 would be on an '84 Carrera.
I've found a whole series of lists on the net, and even tried Rennlist's lookup, but have come up empty. Thanks! -Garrett |
Garrett--
Where did you find the notation E14? All the option codes that I've seen begin with M. All else fails, you can PCNA with your VIN and they will read to you the list of options on the car as it was built. |
I found this. I don't think it is right for an '84 though. It says it is for a 1997. Maybe if your lucky it means the same thing.

Well, a call to Porsche gave me that option code, but they were unable to come up with what the codes represent....

porsche option decoder:
http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp unfortunately it doesn't list that one. |
tried that one...isn't listed there either... I found one list that had SOME E-codes, but not E-14 (ie E12, E13, E15). E is apparently the first option code used for "exclusive options".

Acording PET V-page the letter E is used for (spain).

Can't be a spain-car, becuase not only is the VIN a US model, but it's also a CA car (C03). Thanks for piping in though! |
I would Email Bruce Anderson. If he doesn't know he will most likely find out for you. He has done that in the past for others.
