Spotted a C4S with "Flames"... yes "Flames"... (pic)

Spotted about an hour ago on the 101 freeway just north of Los Angeles.

I had to take a pic (nobody would believe me).

Now, with a C4S wouldn't you have the flames coming from BOTH wheels? I don't really know my "flame etiquette"...

Maybe it's body damage, car was grazed? Who in their right mind would put flames on a Porsche? Looks pathetic.

The fella driving it put it in "d" when he headed out. The car never sees spirited driving. Has gold chains and watch to match.

Yes, in "D" and the car never sees speeds north of 70 mph. We were on the freeway with light traffic and the guy was doing about 50 mph... notice the auto spoiler is DOWN!

Prolly a victim of one of those so called "tuner shows" on speed channel.

Are those flames painted on, or really cool graffics?
All it needs now is a sticker in the window that says "powered by Porsche".

Aw, come on. The guy is just having some fun with his car. No harm done. Some of us (myself included) instantly revert to our "Inner Ten Year Olds" whenever we get behind the wheel of a p-car. And if this guy wants his car to remind him of his first "Hot Wheels" or "Matchbox" or whatever with a couple of stickers, then I say "Rock on P-Car Brother!!"

why are so many watercooled owners like this? Ive only met a very few people (2 total) who own watercooled 911s and actually use them. 1 with a GT3 R with Cup motor and the other with a 2003 turbo x50.
The rest have been people who bought the cars because of the name. Say "nice 996" and watch em get confused.

Seriously guys, give him a break. To each his own, if he likes it well then he should have it. I find this only very slightly different than putting "Carrera" script on a non Carrera car, or putting Porsche script on the doors when your car wasn't optioned with it, or even having a whaletail on a car without turbo flares. Porsche makes cars for some people who want to just toss it in D and drive with the A/C and premium sound on, to some people that's what it is to own a Porsche. Obviously, some people like Porsches for different reasons and choose to drive them differently.
