Hard fuel lines installation ?

Does any body know how to secure the hard fuels on a 911 SC?

I am in the process of restore the fuel lines in my project. I order evry part from the PET. It only states one clip to secure the rear hard lines. Doesn't seem right. Any help would be greatly apprectiated. Picture would be wonderful.

I can't seem to find any resource on thus. They can't just hang there??

TIA

Earl

Are you talking about the lines that run through the center tunnel? I am going to have to put new lines in my car also...can you share on the details of your projects? What parts have you been able to find from Porsche?

Britian -

I have replaced the lines through the tunnel. Here is a thread that I found very helpful. Replacing pressurized fuel line from pump on 78 SC?

( search for "replacing pressurized fuel line")

There is a great post from David that includes part numbers. Raed this before you do anything, it was very helpful to me.

If you can get a PET it has all of the part numbers and diagram.
If you can get access send me an email and I will print it out for your car ( need yr etc) and send you a copy. FYI- pelican parts has the diagram but not refer to part #'s. I was able to get all parts from pelican and Porsche( where pelican did not have).

FYI- you will need an assistant running the lines and the installation damn rubber grommets at the end of each tunnel will test your finger strenght - I still can't move my one thumb!!
But overall it was not a difficult task.

Currently I am trying to figure out the "hard" lines - the ones in the rear of the car - that run form the Tunnel to the engines. I have them installed but not secured to the car. Since my project car did not have fuels when I purchased it , I am running sort of blind - no reference as to what the final product should look like.
Starting to get frustrated.

If your lines are still in the car how are the secured to the body?
A picture would be abosultely wonderful.

I have to go now, my wife is give me the rush. If i can help in anyway let me know. I will check the board tommorrow.

Thanks
Earl
