Cheapest place to buy 9" Fuchs?

Anyone know who has the cheapest prices for 9" Fuchs? Last I heard, wheel enhancement had them for $1350/pair when most others were $1500. MGH

Definitely not W.E., unless they are blowing them out for some reason. Have you called Pelican? Worth a shot, good luck.

If you have the patience search your local papers. We have one in CT that is very automotive intensive. I saw a set of 9x16 Fuchs going for $500.

The local papers attract Porsche owners who aren't necessarily as aware as those who visit this BBS, Rennlist, WE, etc. They won't know what market value is.

I searched thru the Pelican classifieds and Ebay with no success. People want almost as much for a used set as purchasing new($1350 at Wheel Enhancement). Is it worth a couple of hundred dollars in savings when there might be issues with the used wheels??

In my opinion unless you can find a significant deal you are better of buying new.

I might add that my dealings with Wheel Enhancement went very well. There were some weird shipping arrangements which they followed thru without a hitch. Also they took my 6" Fuchs on trade that saved me the hassle of trying to sell them on my own.

W.E. bought all of Porsche's stock, a few years ago. My dealer gave me the heads up when Porsche was blowing out all their 9X16 stock. If I were to guess they (WE) paid $400-450 each. They bought @ 40-50 wheels.

I called 20th street auto looking for a set of 930 rotors. They had a set on Ebay that had just sold. They told me they had a wrecked turbo that was coming in the next day and I could have them. A little light went off in my head and I asked if it had 9" fuchs. The guy said yes and I bought them on the spot for about $900/pair. He said he had a whole list of people that had asked to be called if some came in but a person on the phone with a credit card was much better then a list of calls. Just keep looking and calling and some will turn up.
