NE Ohio German Auto Fest
Anybody attending the German Auto Fest in North Olmsted, Ohio this coming Sunday just west of Cleveland? It is usually a pretty well attended show with some interesting cars. North Coast Cab and I are usually in attendance - at least for part of the event.

Browns v. Ravens at home 1PM
Missed it last year wasting the day watching Browns lose, unable to punch it on 1st and goal at Indy 4 w/under 2 minutes left. Missed it 2 years ago wasting day watching Dwayne Rudd throw his helmet, personal foul, no time on the clock and KC kicks field goal to win. I am sure I will be wasting the day down there watching Jamaal Lewis run for 200+ on Sunday but what can you do, Browns are like crack. joe 68 L |

My attendance will be weather dependent as well - leaky cab?? It looks like it should clear up compared to today.
I don't want to miss the Browns either so will be there early. Take Columbia Road south of I-480 (Great Northern Mall exit) and it is down a couple miles on the right (west) side.

Maybe?
I've attended a couple times, walked a quick lap and have left. I'm not much into the concour thing.
I'd rather meet you guguys in the morning for a cup of coffee.

Hey Vance! My 996 aero won it's class the past 2 years as well.I'm just getting too old and lazy for the concours deal.

jlandreth - I won my class two years ago but didn't go last year so North Coast Cab would have a chance ;-). I am not much into the concours either but I am showing my car the following week at Glenmoor in Canton.
http://www.glenmoorgathering.com/ Sounds like a pretentious affair but Porsche is teh featured marque this year. It was Ferrari last year. I am up for coffee in the morning if anybody else is? There is a Starbucks on Lorain just west Columbia - 5 minutes from the show. The earlier the better. Just put in a wireless network in and love posting from any room in house!

By invitation only? Pretty cool! I suspect that I'm a little too middle-class for that ,but it sounds like a very nice event. Hope to see you Sun. Thanks

So here's the deal. 11:30 meeting at the DJ/music table in the back of the show. That will leave time for those who want to go watch the Browns.
VE Snyder - Vance North Coast Cab - John Pete Brown - Maybe Tab Tanner - Maybe JLandreth Bell Merwin Rick Ilcisko Sounds like there will be a good turn out. Ed Baus will be bringing his race car which is unbelievable. He soanked all but one car at Beaver Run including a ton of Mustangs, and had the fastest qualifying lap. Oh, forgot to mention his 2.7 dynoed at 182HP. As for a morning coffee run I'm usually game on Sunday mornings, though the next week or two might be tough. John

I just realized that Sunday is my Anniversary, so if I'm there at 11:30 there's a good chance this will be the last anniversary! I am going to be at the local Starbucks for coffee early if anybody is interested in meeting up - otherwise next time.

I'm glad to see this event is still taking place. I helped promote and entered my car in the very first Cleveland German Autofest back in the early 90's (I have the T-shirt somewhere). As fate may have it, it's looking like my job may be moving me back to the NE OH area from TX. This could be one cold winter for me.
