Please Tell Me There's Another Way
I need to remove my K&N Filter to clean it. A task until now that has been left up to my wrench at tune-up time.
Anyway, it looks as though there are three nuts that need to be removed in order to remove it. Two of which are easily accessible. The third (And I'm only assuming there IS a third) seems to be on the opposite side of the filter...hidden away so that I can't even confirm there is one there. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095003532.jpg Please tell me there is a better (read EASIER) way to remove this thing! Hey randy, I unscrew the hose clamp on the black rubber elbow, then I unbolt the two nuts that are coming off the mass air flow brackets, and I remove the whole unit. It is a lot easier than trying to reach behind the filter.

Was looking at that as a possibilty, but from just looking, it looked a bit involved. Since you've suggested, though, Eric, that is exactly how I'll do it. Thanks loads for the quick response!
