need fender help....
 
I need a R/S front fender for my 911........is the fender on a '79 SC the same ? ,bare in mind I have the front fender mounted oil cooler.....

what do you mean R/S front fender? If you are talking about your '88 and it is not a widebody (IIRC it's a carrera 3.2 with a turbo added), then a '79 SC fender will be right.

Yep ,it's a regular Carrera body ,I've found one for $200 off an SC and I wanted to make sure it has the same headlamp bucket and will fit the oil cooler (or vice versa) .

ah, good point. The overall shape is definitely the same.

My '81 SC had the necessary hanger welded onto the back of the headlight bucket when I put in a carrera cooler, despite the fact that the hanger isn't needed for the trombone (it was unused). My feeling is that if there is any sort of hanger on the back of the '79 SC headlight bucket it will probably work. I don't know of different varieties of hangers (mounts). Worst case scenario the bucket doesn't have anything on the back and you have to weld a little bracket on. This bracket is available separately; If pelican doesn't have it separately contact Elephant Racing.
