Exhaust Gaskets
I need to replace the gaskets between the heat exchangers and muffler.
Has anyone ever fabricated these gaskets themselves or used another locally available gasket to replace them? What materials are normally used for these gaskets? Thanks Jim

I made some out of copper. I found them at a VW shop for not much money later on and felt a little silly having spent all that time. Mine leaked as well. The VW ones were copper but thicker and worked much better.
