Costco & S03s
Someone told me that Costco does not sell "normal" tires that carry a full warranty. Any truth to this with respect to Bridgestone S03's?
And do they usually have a fall sale on S03's? I' also glad to have people tell me they tried the new Goodyears (DS1?) and they are so good I whouldn't buy the S03s - if that's true. |

FWIW I don't know about "normal" tires as I thought that is what they DO carry?!?!?! But AFAIK Costco does not carry high-performance / specialty tires like the S-03. From my cursory glance at the local store's tire area, I think the focus is mainstream passenger sedan and SUV rubber.
I hope I'm wrong, so somebody please let us know, as I will need a new $et very $oon myself and $ome $avings would be $uper!

Not sure, but when i checked last year, they didn't carry Bridgestone. The only high perf tire they carried at the time was Goodrich KDW
They may get different inventory periodically, so worh checking out. mike

I bought my S0-3s at Costco...soooo....previous posters are incorrect. Order one week before you want them, go in and stand watch.
The service at Costco? Well that was quite a fun experience. I basically had to lift the car (place the floor jack in the correct place). My 911 was too low to run over their lifts. Also they almost used an impact wrench to put the lugs back on. No worries, they diddn't know any different.

They have the Bridgestones & in my size too 105/55-15. But the price isn't that great.
I'm wondering if they usually have a slae about now -- summer's over type thing.... seems like they'd want to move product before fall really sets in. Anybody know their sale times? |

I got a quote at Costco for SO-3s. The price was out of the ball park. How do they have a sale on something they will only special order?

I didn't pay attention, but I think S-03s got an up-date. The stamped tire date is new so I'm not concerned. Tirerack sold me tires about 3-4mo old.. good luck guys.
