Porsche Color Code ??
 

Would be grateful if someone could help me with my car's color code please. It is an early eighties car and the paint code is missing from the door pillar and cannot be found anywhere else on the chassis . The only identification to paint color is on the original german registration document where it states the (Farbe)color as code 000060. I think this is an internal factory code as I can't find any cross reference to it.

If it's a 911, there should be a paint code sticker in the front trunk on the right-hand inner fender panel (under the carpet).

Thanks Eric, to be honest there is a paint sticker where you say 71793 -Montegoschwarz Metallic which the car is painted. The problem is that I have a rare "special wishes" car and I wrote to porsche to have it confirmed and they have said it was silver when manufactured. I believe they are wrong ! If there internal color as on the registration doc. 000060 matches the car paint number I will be happy. Thats why I need to know the colour for this code !
