2,2 T marelli distributor

I am suppose to use a Marelli S 112 Bx distributor for my 1970 2,2 T Targa. Could I use a Marelli S 112 Ax instead? What is the difference? What modifications would be required? I know I could use a Bosch instead, but I would like to stick to as much original parts as possible.

Regards,

Ralf
