I've done some exploring in the hills up there, it's amazing what you can find. Most of the roads I've found are a little too rough to drive regularly, but the scenery is amazing. I need to go spend a day or two wandering around with my GPS and some good topo maps. Dan

Hi Dan
Yes the scenery was difinitely very nice. The Datsun Roadster is owned by my younger brother, who went with us on the fun drive that day. I believe the roadster club do some fun runs as well, in fact the first and only time I have ever been up and down Mines Rd. was with the Datsun Roadster club. Last Saturday was my second time ever up Mines Rd. My brother knows of a Roadster club. Last edited by jtkkz; 09-20-2004 at 06:39 PM.. |

Hey Johan,
Yes, indeed that was mine. You're right, I have not seen another red-bar Targa around. Funny, I have had many thoughts of painting it back to black, but other times, I like it looking a little different in a sea of red targas. Was your car being worked on there? I saw a red coupe while I was there. Part of the fun of going there is checking out all of the other P cars around, old, new, I love them all ![]() BEST shop I have ever dealt with for any kind of vehicle! It was great meeting you as well, and I look forward to another run... -Chris
