carpet question...
What is the difference between a coupe and targa carpet kit? Have a targa, but wondering if a coupe carpet kit would work in my car.
|
I was wondering that myself.
I thought that perhaps some of the convertible or targa body reinforcement made the front foot area smaller. I think the backs are the same as the coupe, but I could be wrong. What do you think of the coco mat look? Not stock but looks like it would hold up well. I have been placing my un-folded roof on the back floor, the center pin is shifting the tunnel carpet all over the place. Are there any fixes out there? I also have the rear seat folded down, and that seems to brace the top for travel. Pelican seems to carry most everything, did you see a better price/quality elsewhere? |
carpet question...
I leave my top unfolded in the trunk (fits perfect!) As for the Coco mats, I haven't seen enough of them to form an opinion, but I'm sure they look much better than my front carpets!! :) Does anyone know if early year floormats (up to 73) will fit in a 76??

My cocoa mats seem generic and sloppy enough to go either way. |

I put my top in the trunk right side up (has to slide under the hood latch section a little bit) Fits perfect.

targa coupe carpet
the door post area is bigger on a targa which makes the carpet on the floor a little smaller,, so they are different, i bought a kit from pelicanlast year,, (have not put it in yet), but is is specifically cut for a targa.

Thanks for all the input! Found a great deal on a coupe carpet kit, but I guess I'll wait on a targa kit.
