I hate it when I've gotta sign up for something just to see an article or something.

Me too. And I didn't look after you said that.

But, I bet it's about the planes that now have radar capabilities. How does the V1 direction finder handle that?

Sorry about that, I didn't realize you had to sign up. I would copy it here, but that would be breaking some laws...

Basically, the plane clocked a motorcycle at 205 mph with a stopwatch. He was arrested on the spot.

Tried to delete but it won't let me.

I just right-clicked on the registration using Mozilla Firefox and the BugMeNot extension and all the user name and password were automatically filled out. The extension works by using a database of volunteered user name and passwords for free sites. Works great when you don't want to register for a site you will never go back to.

okay.. the article made Yahoo news, so it should be viewable now by everyone.... I hope.

The original article has this snippet...

"Few vehicles can reach speeds in excess of 200 mph. Only a handful of cars, such as the Dodge Viper, the Porsche Carrera and several Lamborghinis, can hit the 200 mark. But many of the so-called "crotch rocket" motorcycles popular with young men can top 175 mph. With minor modifications, they can top 200 mph. Tilley was riding a Honda 1000, Loney said."

This is the advantage of the targa - easy to fire the stinger missles.

That speed on a crotch rocket would be seriously scary. When I hit over 50 on my road bike, I pray a squirrel doesn't run in front of me.

Gentlemen:

Ride a crotch rocket, preferably a 1000 and you could forget sports cars! The acceleration, the openness, the balancing, etc........ I had 2, but decided to keep one!!!!

p.s.,

I am a Porsche Dude all the way.
