A quick trip to Stuttgart. Found a nest of 356's.

This probably does not belong in the 911 technical forum, but if Wayne can show gruesome pictures of dead 356's, I should be able to show some live ones.

I spent this week in Stuttgart, including a lot of time on the autobahn back and forth to Frankfurt, France and Switzerland. (Sadly in a Mercedes.)
For being the birthplace and all, there were surprisingly few p-cars on the road. You see more in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The one exception was this nest of 356’s in of all places, the parking garage of the DaimlerChrysler Development Center. They appeared to be from Sweden.

The highlight of the trip was when we were doing 160 km/h on the autobahn, and what looked like a GT3 roared past like we were standing still. The sound gave me goosebumps.

That silver Speedster one with the orange stripes is happening. That's why I want a Roadster.

It had a Supertrap muffler, and it sounded nice too!

Tim is correct,

Note the lack of speedster script on fender and no deco strip as well as the obvious T5 B grills and headlights. The through hood fuel filler is extra cool though!

More 911 here ?, I'm not surprized. Probably without the USA and even the PCA, Porsche would have closed shop years ago.

Good catch. He might have a roadster with a speedster windscreen. But the top looks funky, as in one-off.
