What are these things in the tunnel?
I am installing a fire extinguisher on the tunnel cover (correct term?) Under the front holes, I noticed these bars...what are they? See my finger.

The clutch and throttle cable tubes! I think thats what your pointing at

fuel lines (send & return) also run in those things
A word of warning: Don't try to weld your seat brackets back onto the tunnel, the fuel lines run in tubes just like those right under the welds. (ask me how I know)

Oh yes look up towards the front of the tunnel and see if they go into rubber lines then you'll know they are fuel lines. Just be careful

the tunnel has guide tubes for the following. 2x heater cables, 2x parking brake cables, 2x fuel lines (supply and return), clutch cable tube, throttle linkage bar, And on early cars, two tubes that supply vapors to the charcoal canister and then back to the intake for "recycling".
