Sports seats. Recaro PP or Sparco Milano

I am looking to replace my somewhat tired OEM seats.
My car is a daily driver and I do 10-15 DEs per year. I occasionally use the back seats to carry the kids.

It looks to me like the recaro is more performace oriented whilst the Sparco seems to be a great sport seat.

Is it possible to tilt the Recaros fwd for access to the back seats? I am 6'2" and 190lbs.... Are the PP comfortable?

The Sparco seem to have a quite broad shoulder and hip section whilst the PP seem very narrow.

Any of you have had experience with these as daily drivers?

I am going to go for leather, do u guys have better alternatives?

Thanks for your help

Sparco on the right and Recaro on the left

And these are the Recaro

Anzurs,

Were your Recaros custom finished for you? Are they bolted in place or are they on sliders?

If you want access to the back seats you should look at the Recaro Speed seats, these are the new SRD-type seats. Here's a link to them at the Recaro website:

They seem similar to the Sparco Milanos. I think I saw some on sale for $500 ea.

Good luck!

The Milanos are niiiiiice. I sat in some the other day, but for the pair with all the trimmings it would have been $2200!

IceBlue: Where did you see the Speeds on sale for $500?

Any ever surprised at how small the bolts holding the seat in are? The bolts in my Jeep are 2X the size!

SPeeds bolt directly to the factory mounts. Sparcos require adapters. I've got a Sparco Torino on the passenger side and it is a great seat. The Recaro didn't do it for me due to the way the seat bottom was bolstered. That being said, I'm going to look for a used Recaro SPD/Speed to put on the passenger side, and move my Torino to the driver side for daily driving, putting the Fighter in only for track days.

Money is not an issue.... Speeds are not avaliable in leather... Recaro Topline are much more comfort oriented than Milanos plus have electric adj.

I love the look of the PP. My q is whether they are feasible for a daily driver.

Speedware HAD the speeds on sale for $499 in fabric, they are now back up to $595. YOU must sit in any seat you are considering, because seat choice is so subjective. Something you believe to be ideal for you may be completely uncomfortable to someone else. The Milano is a great looking seat, but I thought it was too confining. I thought the same for the speed. The Pole Position is a comfortable seat for me, but your back seat access is limited. Good luck deciding!
