911 Fender Flares

My 78 SC is in the bodyshop. I am going to the 930 wide body look. I have 2 questions.
First, Pelican offer 2 different rear fender flares. Early style and late. what is the difference?
Second, Are my old SC flares worth anything or do I scrap them? There is no damage and no rust. They have NOT been cut yet.

Late rear flares are for the G50 cars, 87 and up. The torsion bar access cutouts are much different. Get the early style.

The SC flares are sought-after by the early car guys wanting to fit more meat under their cars. Cut them out carefully, you can get a bit of $ for them.

Check your PM inbox.

From the pictures in the new parts catalogue, it looks like on top of the torsion bar access difference, the later flares jut out more horizontally and the early flares have a larger radius curve perpendicular to the body, and that they jut out on more of a diagonal, but it's possible I'm wrong and it's just the pictures.

Early

Late

Rear quarters with the turbo flares used to be available as well. I believe it was for the later cars though.

Great tip on saving/selling the original flares.
