Swapping a 3.0 SC into a 73.5 911T

I am in the process of building an RSR clone out of a 1973.5 911T CIS car. I have the original 2.4 CIS motor as well as a 3.0 SC motor that I purchased and am planning to rebuild before installing in the 911T. The engine will use PMO carbs.

I have read all the threads on this website relating to swapping later motors into early chassis. In order to simplify all of the electronic issues, I was planning on using the original 2.4 CIS engine wiring harness, fan, alternator housing and alternator for the swap. I'm told they will fit the SC motor. If I were to disable the connections for the CIS system, I would think that the rest of the car's electronics would work just as original given that the current and voltage source is as original.

I am planning on using the original fuel pump from the CIS system and relying on the pressure regulator from the PMO kit to reduce the fuel pressure to the carbs.

I plan on having my 915 gearbox rebuilt and would like to use the flywheel and clutch assembly from the 2.4 CIS motor.

Am I on the right track??

Are there any other issues that I will encounter that I should be plannig for?

The only other thing I would do is swap the HE's from the 2.4 to the 3.0.
