carrera H-5 headlight cleaning up (long)

Upon ripping out the headlights I realized missing/rusted screws and dirt and bugs and stuff. I ordered a bunch of new hardware from pelican:
trim ring screws
new foam seals
adjuster screws
stock bulbs from local store
A word about the "H-5 adjuster screw" they are not the long ones with the rubber cross dowel keeper pin for the long screw, they are the retaining screws that hold the AL body in the bucket. I didn't look close at the picture on pelican and thought they were the actual adjusting screws.
I needed all but one, and this is what i found to work from home depot
the dowel slips on the 10-24 bolt with a back up wing nut that falls in place of stock rubber one on the rim housing. These are stainless, no never seize. I did put a little on the one I reused
A word one the foam seals, they are not endless, they are glued, figures. I put some wet suit glue around the rubber cement where factory glues it.
I cleaned inside headlights with vinegar, then alcohol and water, let dry in the sun.
I plan on doing the H-4 thing later on but for now at least everything works as it should. next time they come out I plan on bead blasting the assemblys
OH, if you order the "adjuster screw" it doesn't come with washers either, like in the picture. Also the trim ring screw in shorter, black, and for the most part inferior to original.

new fog lenses also
sorry if I wasted your time, just wished I new all this about six months ago

You'll be even more happier with the euro H-4's.
And don't forget to add some relays.
