radio delete - what to do about the antenna

I have deleted my radio and am in the middle of installing a cht and voltmeter gauge in its place.... so what do I do with the antenna? How did the factory deal with the antenna / antenna hole for a radio delete optioned car?

I pluged the hole on my delete with a plastic plug from Home Depot.

install an alarm pager and hook it up to the antenna.

OK. This may be a stupid question... But, how do you get to the antenna? Do you have to take the fender off?

Take your right front tire off. To remove the antenna, you have unplug everything inside the fender & remove the bracket. Then remove the cover nut on top of the fender then the funky hard to get to nut underneath the cover nut. I could be wrong though, because I wasn't worried about preserving the whole thing when I took it out.

I plugged holes in my fan shroud with chrome plated hole plugs. I think it's in the HELP parts section of auto parts stores. I bent the finger tangs out to keep them from popping out. It might work.

Or you could fill the hole with welding. Blend it in and repaint the panel. This is the best way- but $$$$$.
