In Search of a Nox Cat
I'm in the process of getting my engine rebuilt (yee ha!) and I am investigating exhaust options. My engine guy says that for my application (stock 3L rebuilt) the SSI exhaust is not worth the cost - especially considering we have emission testing here in Harris County, Texas.
So here is the question, he is telling me that the best solution for me is something called a Nox Cat - not sure of the spelling. Apparently it is something like a high flow cat. I've checked Google and got nada. Has anyone ever heard of this device? Any experiences? Anyone know where to get one? Thanks! From memory ( ! hah )....I think that part number is a Euro pre-muffler that is used in lieu of a Cat. I kind of remember seeing about 4 different part numbers for Euro pre-mufflers when I was in the market, and this "looks" familiar.
Anyone confirm ?? ---Wil
