entertaining article (not P-car)
Hahaha, this is hilarious. Not sure where this guy got his info.
http://www.car-forums.com/s7/t4091.html Some of his notions are priceless, just bump the timing to 28*BTDC and a miata is as fast as an S2000. Despite his facts it's a reasonably well written article that really shows his enthusiasm. On a related note. I got tires and alignment done on my miata. I have 195 55 14 Toyo Proxes T1S tires and an alignment like you would expect to find on a street performance 911 ~-1 frt -- -1.5 rr camber, ~-4.5 caster, 0 toe front and a little bit rear. It's amazing what that little thing can do with little 14" wheels. The new tires made an enormous difference. I think they make sizes that would fit the 15" crowd's cars, probably 16" too. I would highly recommend them, great grip, great feel, just all around tires as good or better than my old Bridgestone RE730s. A good source, at least for me, is www.edgeracing.com. So far this little car will take a corner almost as fast as the 911, maybe as fast, but I'm not as comfortable in it as I was in the 911 yet. Obviously it's missing the grunt out of the corners, and I miss it too. Before I sold the 911 I never saw any in my little town, but since I sold it I have seen 3 or 4, and I see one of them pretty regularly. I think it's punishment for selling. I'm now tortured by constantly being reminded of what I got rid of.
